Just over three years ago I swore I would never enjoy coffee. I spoke a little too soon.
People often forget that coffee is a product of a long, grueling agricultural process, not simply mined from the ground. Years of hard work and dedication go in to the creation of a single cup of great coffee. I hope to highlight that process. From sprout to tree, hands to machines, here to there, green to roasted, and shop to consumer - I am interested in it all.
I was merely a home-brewing enthusiast for the greater part of two years until I was accepted to the team at Yellow House Coffee in Lubbock, Texas. My appreciation for all things coffee grows daily, surprising me continually in ways I could have never imaged. Take this journey with me.
